One of the biggest highlights of studying at North Lindsey College was the course structure—it gave me the flexibility to keep my part-time job while learning. I really enjoyed both the practical and theory sessions, and the course has opened so many doors for my future.
Darcy – Engineering
Darcy
Level 3 Engineering Graduate

Darcy first discovered North Lindsey College while attending an open day as a student at Healing School. She was immediately impressed—not just by the wide range of courses on offer, but also by the college’s organisation and welcoming atmosphere. Although the College was 30 miles from home, excellent transport links made the commute manageable. Despite not knowing anyone at first, Darcy quickly formed lasting friendships.

With a long-standing passion for engineering, Darcy was especially drawn to electrical engineering. She also had a strong desire to travel and learn new skills, making the course at North Lindsey the perfect fit to kick-start her career.

Determined to champion women in engineering, Darcy is now proud to have secured an apprenticeship as an offshore wind turbine technician, with ambitions to become a valued member of the Orsted team.

Real Experience, Real Results
