College Awarded Quality in Careers Standard 

North Lindsey College and Doncaster College, both part of DN Colleges Group, were assessed for their delivery of careers education, information, advice and guidance against the 8 Gatsby Benchmarks. Green Energy Growth Across the Humber

A project which has attracted Skills Development Funding, is being delivered by the Group to stimulate interest in the green industrial revolution. The UK Government announced a £12 billion “Ten Point Plan” to mobilise private investment and reduce UK emissions by 180 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent between 2023 and 2032. Students Experience Cyprus  

Once travel restrictions were eased, DNCG, which includes North Lindsey College and Doncaster College, have received the highest amount of student applications for overseas work experience. The last student trip, pre-Covid had taken place in February 2020.  Four students from Doncaster College and four from North Lindsey College flew out to Limassol for a once in a lifetime opportunity with their subject area peers. Festive Fundraising at College  

The Health and Social Care department held an Elf Day to raise money for local people with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Elf day at the College provided the opportunity for staff and students to dress up, unleash their inner elf and spread some festive cheer to raise money for people affected by dementia and their families. Students enjoyed elf activities throughout the day and held a bake sale, managing to raise £400 across sites which will be spent on providing care packages for carers for over the festive season. T-Level Health and

Uniformed Services Students raise money in a military style for the Poppy Appeal

Road Safety Week always takes place in November and is the UK’s biggest annual road safety campaign and the College were keen to get involved. Student Works on DIY SOS

The project took place throughout September in Brandesburton, Hull.
