Kevin aged 62 years has just started his new role as a Junior Content Producer Apprentice at Resolution in Scunthorpe. Kevin has over 35 years of experience as a cameraperson, travelling worldwide on assignments but now wants to work locally. The apprentice will split their time between North Lindsey College, Doncaster College and East Riding, where their role will be to coordinate and manage youth social action activities. Main activities will be student-led and in collaboration with community organisations and charities to ensure wide participation, impact and sustainability. Engineering students donate £1000 to Lindsey Lodge Hospice

Engineering students presented two staff members from Lindsey Lodge Hospice with a cheque for £1000. UCNL Charity Skydive Raises a Staggering £8,170 for Charity 

The adrenaline-fuelled experience was initially planned for January 2021 but due to Covid restrictions the anticipated skydive had to be put on hold. Football Focus for Construction Students in their Latest Renovation  Project 

Majority of the work was carried out on the interior of the building which is currently used as a football club for young children to deliver football sessions and training. OddBalls Raise Awareness of Testicular Cancer

Set-up in 2014, the Newcastle based charity visited the College to deliver several awareness building sessions to our students to help them identify the early stages of testicular cancer and encourage them to seek treatment.   Over 2300 people are diagnosed with testicular cancer every year. Staff member loses five stone for the Mental Health Foundation
