DN Colleges Group’s Green Energy Manufacturing department has been shortlisted for a Global Offshore Wind Award in the ‘Powering the Future Workforce’ category.
The awards take place on 13 October at the Royal Lancaster London Hotel in London, recognising organisations making a contribution to the future of the offshore wind industry.
The nomination celebrates our work with Siemens Energy and Ørsted, supporting apprentices to develop the technical skills, practical experience and workplace behaviours needed for careers in offshore wind.
The programmes have achieved apprenticeship achievement rates of more than 90%, alongside strong progression into employment.
Our work with industry continues to grow, with OEG also partnering with DN Colleges Group to support future offshore wind talent. We have also recently welcomed our first apprentices from GEV Power, who have started their training with us.
The shortlist recognises the commitment of our learners, staff and employer partners to developing the skilled workforce needed for the future of offshore wind.
We look forward to attending the awards in London next month.
