Emily
Level 3 Extended Diploma in Art and Design
Former Solihull College student, Emily Downey completed our Level 3 Extended Diploma in Art and Design in 2020. She has since gone on to earn a degree in Games Art at Staffordshire University and is now studying for a Master’s in 3D Digital Skills.
Emily’s long-term ambition is to become a character artist in the dynamic games industry. Further down the line, she hopes to start her own indie games company with some of her university peers.
She credits her time at college as a key part of her journey, saying the course – and especially her tutors – played a big role in helping her grow both creatively and personally.
