This course provides learners with a broad introduction to the health and care sector, equipping learners with underpinning knowledge and skills specific to the sector alongside a range of transferable employability skills. I felt there was a lot of support at College from tutors and other staff. The course is the reason why I got a place at university. It prepared me and helped with completing assignments and referencing which made it easier at university. My placements gave me a greater understanding of what a job in health and social care could be like. It was the best decision I made in terms of my career pathway.
Upon completion learners can progress to the Level 2 Certificate in Health and Care or the T Level Foundation Year in Health.
