Our Civil Engineering Senior Technician Apprenticeship offers the perfect mix of academic learning and practical, on-the-job experience. Delivered through a day-release model over 3 years, apprentices split their time between structured classroom study and hands-on work in the field or office.
What You’ll Study
You’ll work towards achieving the Pearson BTEC Level 4 Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Civil Engineering for England—a nationally recognised qualification that equips you with the technical knowledge and skills required by the industry.
Taught one day per week, the course covers key subject areas such as:
- Engineering principles and applied mathematics
- Site surveying and setting out
- Structural analysis and design
- Health, safety, and environmental practice
- Civil engineering materials and construction techniques
