North Lindsey College is gearing up for its biggest Open Event of the year and for the very first time, it will take place in the College’s new main campus building.
On Tuesday 14th October 2025, from 4:30pm to 7:00pm, the College will open its doors and welcome the public to explore the brand-new learning spaces and facilities. The event is designed especially for Year 10 and 11 students from across the local and surrounding areas, giving them a chance to explore some of their post-school options.
Expected to draw around 1,000 visitors, the event will offer a first look inside the impressive new facilities. Guests will be able to explore the cutting-edge Lindsey Building, including brand-new all-electric learning kitchens, the upgraded air cabin, and a dedicated SEND space with a fully equipped apartment simulation. Around the wider campus, students will be demonstrating practical work in all areas of study, from the hairdressing to plastering. The College’s inviting communal areas, from the central dining hall to the spacious Learning Resource Centre, will also be open to discover.

Adding to the celebratory feel of the event, performing arts students will be showcasing their talents in the brand-new auditorium, and Mayor and Cllr Carol Ross will be in attendance to mark this special occasion.
This flagship event is the perfect opportunity for prospective students and their families to see for themselves the fantastic array of courses on offer and get a real sense of life at North Lindsey College, from touring the facilities to meeting the people who will support them on their upcoming educational journey.
