If you want to get fit, enjoy doing sport, try something new or even compete at the highest level, there really is no other team to join.

Since 2016 we have had a boxing champion, a commonwealth champion, semi-professional footballers (both male and female), tennis player and a Team GB cyclist to name a few.

Our on-site gym is also open to all students, not just those studying sport. We offer the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, with our participation rate in 2018 being the highest in the region.

We are the only Sport England initiative College in this region. In 2018 nearly £80,000 was awarded to us to increase participation in sport, with the whole College community getting involved in activities such as zorb balling, swimming, basketball, badminton, tennis and so much more.

Our links to industry are also very strong too; the Royal Marines and police trainers regularly come into College and deliver sessions to our students.

Our sport and uniformed services departments run a wide variety of trips and visits, including trips overseas. Forty students went to Italy in June 2018 to compete and be trained by AC Milan football community coaches.

As a College we are proud to have the highest number of #ThisGirlCan ambassadors in the region. This is a national campaign to encourage more females into sport no matter what level they compete at
