According to the NHS, 1.48 million people currently work in the social care sector and with adult social care growing the sector needs at least another half a million jobs and people to do them by 2030.
To help you get ready for the world of work, we are now offering a T-Level in Health and Social Care and our facilities include a clinical practice area, two nursing stations, full nursing equipment which includes compression monitors, naso-gastric equipment, dementia simulation, bedside care facilities, hoists, wheelchairs, infection control and CPR equipment. In addition to this we also have biology laboratories and bioscience labs.
Our students benefit from excellent links to employers and our programmes help our students progress into a wide range of jobs in the sector, onto higher education or on to an apprenticeship.
