Posted: August 12, 2020

DN Colleges Group – which comprises of North Lindsey College and the UCNL locally, along with Doncaster College and University Centre – offer a broad range of options for those looking at their next steps post A Levels.

Opportunities range from sector-relevant vocational training in purpose-built workshops, apprenticeships with key regional employers looking to hire now, higher apprenticeships, traineeships, T-Level qualifications and degrees, HNDs, HNCs and a Masters at the UCNL for consideration.

Enrolment has already started at North Lindsey College, so students looking at their next steps are advised to get in touch today.

As the largest provider of apprenticeships in our region, North Lindsey College offer students access to career enhancing opportunities through apprenticeships with large companies such as Siemens Gamesa.

The College have also recently announced a new ECITB scholarship programme, which sees candidates access a weekly payment of £140 per week or £100 depending on the route individuals take.

The UCNL, based on Ashby Road in Scunthorpe, is the local campus if you’d like to gain a degree from the University of Lincoln, University of Hull, Sheffield Hallam University, University of Huddersfield or HND and HNCs without having to leave home. Courses range from business and management, through to social science, English, history, engineering, bioscience, biochemistry, construction, counselling, sport and so many more.

Fees for degrees delivered at the UCNL are lower than elsewhere, with the added benefit that students can remain at home so do not have additional living costs to consider.

Students studying at DN Colleges Group have voiced their satisfaction after the Group were recognised this year, for the second year in a row, as winners of the Best FE College in the UK as voted for by students at the WhatUni? Student Choice Awards.
