Achieving the qualification shows that you can read, write, speak, listen, and communicate effectively in a range of real‑life and workplace situations.
How the Course Is Delivered
Our distance learning courses are completed entirely online, so there is no requirement to attend college in person. However, you are welcome to come into college if you feel you would benefit from additional support.
You will complete your online assessments by answering questions and submitting your work to your tutor through the online learning platform. You will receive full written feedback on each assessment within five working days.
Tutor Support
Your tutor is available during office hours by email or mobile phone if you need help with your studies. We encourage you to get in touch whenever you need guidance or clarification.
Exams and Assessment
At the end of the course, you will be required to sit three exams under exam conditions in the college or at home so long as you meet the correct specifications to sit at home:
- Speaking and listening – completed in a small group via Microsoft Teams.
- Reading – final written exam.
- Writing – final written exam.
