Duration
Typical duration is 18-24 months. This course includes taught sessions attended at the workplace or college, tutorials to discuss progress, one to one additional support sessions and will require the learner to have the ability to independently study.
The level 3 Diploma in Healthcare Support consists of mandatory and optional units which are used to assess competency and knowledge across specialist areas, for example Adult Nursing, Maternity, Theatre, Allied Health, or Mental Health through the optional specialism units.

Needs to be working or volunteering in a healthcare setting to evidence competency across the diploma’s knowledge and skills.
