This qualification has been developed to provide you with the underpinning knowledge and related practical skills in a range of engineering subjects, along with practical experience and expectations of the situations that they could face in an engineering job role. The qualification does not require evidence of occupational competence in the workplace. However, the units of the qualification have been developed from the relevant National Occupational Standards and so contribute to developing the skills and knowledge that have been identified to operate effectively in job roles the engineering sector
