This is a top up of the Level 3 Diploma in Performance and Production Arts
– Acting.
styles and techniques and become a well rounded performer. In this full time
course, you will take part in internal and external performances throughout the
year. Students will have the opportunity to tour the nearby theatres to perform
in their final term. This course is 90% practical and 10% theory based.
You will continue to develop each acting skill extensively including
Improvisation, Devising, Script Work, Classical text, Monologues and Audition
Techniques alongside studying practitioners and their work.
studies and enrichment master classes throughout the year give you the
opportunity to work with industry professionals. Each student has the
opportunity to audition for casting agency, ‘Duckegg Agency’, allowing you to
access professional work. Students are able to receive one to one sessions
alongside their group classes.
You will complete 3 formative units and a final summative unit where you
will be graded with a Pass, Merit or Distinction.
Projects
These units will be completed throughout the year using varied assessment
styles to suit your needs. Units can be submitted verbally, electronically or
creatively.
Applicants must have successfully completed the Level 3 Diploma in Performance and Production Arts (Acting). Entrants must demonstrate a passion and determination for the subject.
Students typically progress onto a Level 4 Professional Diploma in Performance, higher education or employment.
