Through a variety of theory and practical sessions you will develop your fabrication and welding skills to an intermediate level. You will learn how to weld using different processes and materials, cut and shape plate work, handle engineering information as well as build effective working relationships. The welding processes you will cover include manual metal arc, metal inert gas and tungsten inert gas and you will choose to specialise in one of the three processes.
