Worth three A Levels, this is the perfect course for you if you’re interested in pursuing a higher career in one of the uniformed services or planning to study uniformed services at degree level. You’ll broaden your knowledge of employment in the uniformed services and the many opportunities available, this will include career planning within the industry as well. This course carries up to 168 UCAS points. You need to be prepared to undergo intense physical training in preparation for a career in uniformed services.

Emergency planning and response in the uniformed services

Ideally at least 5 GCSEs at grade 9-5 or A*-C including English and Maths or a Level 2 qualification, but this is subject to discussion at your interview. If you haven’t already achieved a GCSE grade 5 or grade C in English or Maths, then you will study either GCSE or Functional Skills English or Maths alongside your other qualifications.
After completing your course you could progress on to study uniformed services or a related field at university. Alternatively, you could go straight into employment including an apprenticeship. Studying unformed services could lead to a career in the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, British Army, Royal Air Force, Fire Service, Police and Prison Service plus many other opportunities.
