Supported internships are structured work-based study programmes for young people with an Education Health and Care Plan who would not be able to take on a standard apprenticeship. It is a great opportunity for you to develop hands-on experience in a real life working environment.
Areas you may study include:
Personal preparation for work
Job search skills
Effective behaviour at work
There are no formal entry requirements. If you haven’t already achieved a GCSE grade 5 or grade C in English or Maths, then you will study either GCSE or Functional Skills English or Maths alongside your other qualifications.
Depending on your situation, you may be able to access a range of financial support available.
