Level 6 Chartered Manager (Degree) Apprenticeship Standard

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

The Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship is a three-year, part-time pathway leading to a BA (Hons) Professional Practice in Leadership & Management. This programme is delivered by the University Campus North Lincolnshire, in collaboration with the University of Lincoln. The BA (Hons) Professional Practice in Leadership & Management has been designed for as wide a range of individuals as possible and can be studied as a stand-alone degree or as part of a degree apprenticeship

The programme will build capacity to successfully manage people, projects, operations, and services. It will develop key leadership and management knowledge and skills such as decision making, managing and developing people, building teams, leading change, project management, financial management, marketing, communications, innovation, and developing stakeholder relations. The work-based project is a substantial piece of work to be undertaken towards the end of the Apprenticeship programme and brings together elements of learning from different parts of the programme and shows evidence of accumulated knowledge and skills within their organisation.

The course is designed for both experienced and early career managers and supervisors in employment.

The degree programme is delivered 17 days per year, employers must commit to the apprentice having the equivalent of 20% off the job training

The Independent End Point Assessment (EPA) on the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship measures the skills, knowledge and behaviours of each Manager to the Apprenticeship Standard using a range of methods; Portfolio of Evidence, Work-Based Project Report and Presentation, Competency-Based Interview.

Be employed as a manager or supervisor, working at least 30 hours per week.
Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE at grade C/4 or equivalent) are normally required. Applicants without these will undertake a diagnostic assessment for functional skills, this qualification is undertaken during the apprenticeship.
