Our multi-million pound Engineering Technology Centre is home to industry-standard facilities, and our sustained investment in Engineering, along with outstanding facilities make us the first choice College for so many people.

Engineering is used to design and build machines, structures, bridges, tunnels, roads, vehicles, buildings and so much more with a high emphasis on sustainable engineering.

Engineers are in high demand, our training and apprenticeships can lead you to a successful career in our region and further afield.

Our multi-million pound Engineering Technology Centre is home to industry-standard facilities including conventional and CNC lathes and milling machinery, CAD, mechatronics, fabrication and welding bays, wind turbines, robotics, mechanical and electrical workshops, laboratories and social spaces to study.

We’re proud to continue to hold the apprenticeship contracts for local key employers including Siemens Gamesa, British Steel and Jack Tighe. We also work alongside CATCH Academy which is an industry-led partnership supporting the process, energy, engineering and renewable industries in Yorkshire and Humber. Other locations we deliver include the Humber Energy Skills Training Academy, (HESTA) in Hull, delivering training and apprenticeships for refrigeration engineers.
