887 was the total years’ service for those invited; with 16 staff having reached over 25 years’ service, 14 staff reached their 15th year and 17 staff reached their 10th year anniversary.
The event was to celebrate and recognise staff who have given outstanding service, commitment and dedication to the College over a significant number of years.
Mick Lochran (College Principal) said, “It’s incredible to think that these staff alone reached 887 years’ service to the College; with this comes experience and knowledge which is irreplaceable. They truly are North Lindsey through and through.”
One of the longest reigning members of staff is Carol Douglas Hall who has accumulated 39 years’ service at North Lindsey College. Carol said, “I love my job because no day is ever the same. Each day I am presented with new challenges and situations, which really helps me to stay focused and interested. North Lindsey is like having an extended family and I have made many friends over the years.”
Scott Wilson (Human Resource Manager) said, “It was another fantastic event and a real pleasure to be involved with. It brought colleagues from all areas together and was great to hear the numerous stories, memories and experiences been shared throughout the event.”
