North Lindsey College is urging employers across the region to help play a vital role in shaping the future workforce by offering apprenticeship opportunities to local learners.
With industry skills in high demand and businesses facing growing pressure to meet project needs, DN Colleges Group is highlighting the importance of investing in homegrown talent and has as launched a new campaign, Bridging Skills Gaps, to tackle the growing skills shortage across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. The initiative focuses on preparing young people for employment, empowering future talent, and supporting local businesses with the skilled workforce they need.
As part of the campaign, DN Colleges Group has set an ambitious target — to create 100 new apprenticeship opportunities in just 100 days.
Julie Bower, Director of Employer Relationships at DN Colleges Group, emphasises the importance of working together and said: “This campaign is a call to action for employers. We’re not just filling vacancies—we’re shaping futures. By collaborating, we can ensure our region has the skilled workforce it needs to compete and thrive.”
North Lindsey College offers apprenticeships from Level 2 to Level 6, helping apprentices gain the skills they need to succeed at work. Employers benefit from job-ready apprentices, tailored support to find the perfect match, and long-term workforce growth with lower recruitment costs.
Employers across all sectors are being encouraged to reach out and explore how they can be part of shaping the next generation of skilled professionals.
