North Lindsey College is proud to announce that the first Performing Arts student has been signed up as part of an exclusive casting platform.
Spotlight is a casting platform, that only North Lindsey College students in this region have access to. The platform connects budding performers with roles in theatre, television and film productions around the world and casting professionals choose Spotlight to find talent for their projects because performers on Spotlight are recognised as some of the industry’s best.
Spotlight is at the heart of the performing arts industry with studios in London’s famous West End, and partners across Europe, America and Australia.
The first student performer who has been scooped up by Spotlight is the talented Stephanie Reeve (19), who is a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing and Production Arts student. North Lindsey College is delighted to be working with Spotlight which is a fantastic opportunity for students to promote themselves as professional performers and allow them to be seen by casting directors. This has already proving to be successful as Stephanie has been accessing this and as a result has lined up an audition with a popular TV soap.
Haley (Director of Duckegg Theatre) said, “We are excited to welcome Stephanie to our agency books. She shows great potential and the business minded motivation to do well in the acting industry. Despite COVID-19, the arts are alive and well and castings for Christmas TV, film and commercial projects are rolling in. We look forward to Steph submitting her first self-tapes to build her reputation with our network of casting directors.”
Stephanie added, “I’m really excited to see what Spotlight has in store for me and the experience it can provide ready for the industry. I think it’s a great opportunity!”
