The College have delivered a pro-active approach and an on-going commitment to its students, staff and visitors since March, going above and beyond to ensure everyone is safe and adheres to latest government guidelines. North Lindsey College Talented Athletes to Pursue their Dreams whilst Continuing with their Education
The TASS Dual Career Accreditation allows elite athletes to progress into their chosen disciplines whilst they are still in education which is funded by Sports England. The College has recognised seven talented students so far across a range of different curriculum areas and in a range of sporting professions including boxing, extreme sports motocross, running, golf and swimming. Foundation Studies student Milli Leech is one of the TASS (Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme) funded by Sports England. Students Spread Some Festive Joy in the Community with Generous Donations
The team from Sport and Uniformed Services alone created 20 large hampers for those who may need a boost this Christmas and presented them to Prevention to Intervention. The department pulled together after Sport tutor Jessica Plumtree asked her students if they wanted to help make some hampers to support those less fortunate during the festive period who may not have access to much food, household items and toiletries.
