North Lindsey Tutor the Latest Microsoft Innovative Trainer  

Ellen Lumgair, who works at the popular Scunthorpe College, has now gained MIE status and is the first to achieve the accolade within DN Colleges Group. Mark Ullah, Maintenance Operator at North Lindsey College, decided that he wanted to support local causes by raising money and he could do this by using his trade skills. The College have been praised by the DofE for its local contributions between April 2019 and March 2020. The social value of the hours comes to a staggering £5428.80 which has benefitted the local community. North Lindsey College selected to be WorldSkills UK Centre of Excellence

The link will mean that staff across the Group will benefit from bespoke training to support their CPD, which in turn will mean students will benefit from tutors with industry trained tutors. The work will be led by WorldSkills UK High-Performance Skills Coaches, who are all experienced WorldSkills UK Training Managers.
