Maths GCSE

If you haven’’t achieved a GCSE grade C or 4 in maths, don’t worry, you’’ll work towards the qualification as part of your programme of study. GCSE maths cover numbers, geometry, algebra, measures, statistics and probability. If you want to go on to university, employment or an apprenticeship a GCSE maths will help you make the step on to your chosen career path.

100% Assessment – Exam

Ideally at least a GCSE grade 3 or grade D in Maths, but this is subject to discussion at your interview. If you haven’t already achieved a GCSE grade 5 or grade C in English then you will study either GCSE or Functional Skills English alongside your other qualifications.

Students may have the opportunity to study additional subjects and participate in sporting, social or enterprising activities. Examples of the various activities will be made available to you by your tutors; opportunities are varied and change each year.

We plan to offer work experience, employer talks, employer visits and other employer involvement in all our programmes.
