Ideally at least 4 GCSEs or an Entry Level 3 qualification, but this is subject to discussion at your interview. If you haven’t already achieved a GCSE grade 5 or grade C in English or Maths, then you will study either GCSE or Functional Skills English or Maths alongside your other qualifications.

Students may have the opportunity to study additional subjects and participate in sporting, social or enterprising activities. Examples of the various activities will be made available to you by your tutors; opportunities are varied and change each year.

We plan to offer work experience, employer talks, employer visits and other employer involvement in all our programmes.

After completing your course you could progress on to study a Level 2 Diploma in Animal Care. Alternatively, you could progress straight into employment including apprenticeships.
